Adobe Express
The first software is Adobe Express. It’s an online video editor that has only the basic tools. Let’s see how to join videos in it. Once you are on the main page go to the Features tab and choose Merge Video. Click on the Merge Your Videos button and a new tab will open. Now you can either drag and drop your videos or upload them from your computer. The maximum duration of 1 video file must not exceed 1 hour.
Under the player window, you will see a small panel with tools. Use the scissors tool to set the start and end times for each clip. You can also mute your videos or crop them if needed. Once you’re finished, you need to choose the dimension of your final video from the Size dropdown menu. There are only 3 variants – landscape, portrait, and square. Choose the one you like and hit the Download button. The software will render your video and save it to the Downloads folder on your PC. Unfortunately, you can’t choose the output format of your video, it will be automatically saved in MP4 format. And if you didn’t login in the beginning, on the final step you’ll be asked either to create an account or to log in via Google, Facebook, or Apple accounts.
Adobe Express is simple to use and it’s a great choice when you need to do only one thing at a time, like joining clips together. If you want to add effects or spice up your joined video with music, you’ll have to look for another software.
Clipify
The second is Clipify. It’s an easy-to-use, yet powerful video editor with an intuitive interface. It supports videos of all the popular formats – MP4, AVI, MOV, MKV, etc. First, you’ll need to download and install the software on your computer. Note that it works only on Windows. Then run it, choose New Project, and select Blank Project. Click on Add Videos and Photos and import your video files. Alternatively, you can drag and drop your clips on the timeline. You can add files of different formats and as many as you wish.
To join video files you simply have to arrange them on the timeline in the order that you need. Note that transitions will be added automatically between the clips. If you don’t need them and want to make a seamless video, then simply right-click on the transition and choose Delete Transition. Now preview your video from the beginning. If you’re satisfied with the result, click the Create Video button and choose from one of dozens of formats. There are over 50 export formats divided into categories for convenience.

Veed
Veed is an online video editor. You can use it on any device – PC, phone, MacBook, and in any browser. With Veed you can join videos of different formats – MP4, AVI, MOV, MPEG. You can also add pictures, texts, and various annotations like arrows, circles, etc.
Once you’ve run your browser and opened the online editor page you will be prompted to create a new account. When you’re done with this step, click on New Project. Then hit the Upload Video button. You can add several videos at once. If you’ve forgotten to add a clip, you can click on the Plus button on the timeline and import it. Now you can arrange the clips if needed. And the last step is to hit the download button. The program will start to render your video. When it’s finished you will be offered several options – to copy the link, to download the video, to download the video as a GIF, and to share it.
